If you love discovering something that was actually made by the person standing behind the booth, FestiFair in Marysville, Ohio, deserves a spot on your fall calendar.

On Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9 a.m.–4 p.m., Historic Uptown Marysville transforms into a huge outdoor arts and crafts festival for the 45th annual FestiFair. Admission is free, and the festival brings more than 250+ vendors and artisans to Marysville's heart.

But FestiFair isn't simply about filling Main Street with vendor booths. What makes this event special is its focus on handcrafted products, locally made goods, and original creations.

These Aren't Just Any Vendors

Back to Top of List

One of my favorite things about FestiFair is that the vendors are selected with intention.

FestiFair isn't technically a juried show, but organizers review applicants based on their products and even consider how many vendors are already selling similar items. The 2026 vendor spaces are already full, with a waitlist being accepted.

That curated approach makes walking through FestiFair much more fun.

You aren't simply shopping rows of the same mass-produced merchandise. You'll discover artisans and makers offering everything from:

  • Handmade jewelry and metalwork

  • Pottery, glassware, and art

  • Seasonal and home décor

  • Quilts and textiles

  • Garden art

  • Wood carvings and folk art

  • Baskets and handcrafted gifts

  • Locally made foods and treats

It's the kind of festival where you can talk to the maker, learn the story behind an item, and go home with something you aren't going to find everywhere else.

Make a Day of It in Uptown Marysville

Back to Top of List

Don't rush through FestiFair. Part of the fun is enjoying Marysville itself.

The festival spreads throughout Historic Uptown, giving you an easy opportunity to pop into the locally owned shops, grab lunch, find a sweet treat, and explore between vendor stops. Food trucks and food vendors are also located throughout the festival, with many concentrated around 6th Street and the Plum Street parking lot.

The Union County Farmers Market will also be happening at Partners Park from 8:30–11:30 a.m., making an early arrival even more worthwhile.

Pro-tip

Come early and plan to stay awhile. Instead of trying to find a parking spot close to the festival, use the free park-and-ride shuttle from the Union County Fairgrounds at 845 N. Main Street. It runs visitors into the heart of the festival throughout the day.

And bring some cash. Many vendors accept cards or Venmo, but not everyone accepts every form of payment.

Turn FestiFair Into a Marysville Weekend

Back to Top of List

If you're driving in from another part of Ohio, consider staying overnight and making a weekend out of your visit.

The fun actually starts the night before FestiFair with Friday Night Uptown on September 11 — a brand‑new community event featuring a car show, live music, food trucks, and Uptown shopping. It’s the perfect way to ease into FestiFair weekend and experience Historic Uptown Marysville at its best.

A few Marysville hotel options include Home2 Suites by Hilton Marysville, which offers suite-style rooms and kitchenettes; Comfort Suites Marysville Columbus - Northwest; Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Columbus Marysville; and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Marysville by IHG.

Staying overnight gives you more time to explore Marysville and Union County instead of making FestiFair a quick in-and-out trip.

There are plenty of fall festivals in Ohio, but FestiFair has managed to keep the focus on what makes an arts and crafts festival worth visiting in the first place — the makers.

It's locally made, naturally crafted, and thoughtfully selected.

Add in Historic Uptown Marysville, local restaurants, shops, food trucks, and the atmosphere of a community celebrating its 45th year of FestiFair, and you have an easy Ohio fall day trip — or an even better weekend getaway.
