Union County Tourism

Union County Tourism is the official Destination Marketing Organization for Union County and the economic development leader dedicated to enhancing community vitality and quality of life through travel and tourism. Our staff promotes, develops, and highlights Union County as a premier destination for leisure, business, group tours, weddings, meetings, and sports travel. In doing so, we connect visitors to hospitality partners, lodging properties, and the owners of venues, restaurants, attractions, and shops.

Union County Tourism operates Union Station 1820, a year-round visitors center and gift shop. Make Union Station 1820, located at 109 E. Fifth St., Marysville, OH 43040, your first stop when visiting Union County. You'll find naturally crafted gift items, information on attractions, dining, shopping, and events, and assistance with your travel planning needs.

Union Station 1820 is open Tuesday – Friday, 12 – 6 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Board of Trustees

Union County Tourism reports to a Board of Trustees and the Union County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Board terms for Union County Tourism are three-year commitments, and appointees may serve a maximum of two consecutive terms. Annually, the Board elects its President, Vice President, and Secretary. Union County Tourism manages five standing committees: the Agritourism Advisory Committee, the Arts & Culture Advisory Committee, the Competitive Events Advisory Committee, the Hospitality Advisory Committee, and the National Scenic Byway Advisory Committee.

The board meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 8 a.m. at the Union County Chamber of Commerce office or other locations, on occasion. Committee meetings are held at the direction and discretion of the individual committee chairs (typically quarterly).
